Evang. MIKE BAMILOYE is the Executive Director of Mount Zion Film Productions, Nigeria which has produced several christian movies in Nigeria, USA, Canada, Australia and India.
He is Executive Director of The Mount Zion Institute of Christian Drama, established since 1991, which has trained thousands of drama and film production ministers in Nigeria, UK, USA, Australia, and Europe.
He is also the Production Director of The Mount Zion Television Film Outreaches which broadcast Christian drama and films on several television channels in Nigeria, Africa and Europe.
He is Chairman, Board of Trustees, All Nigeria Conference of Evangelical Drama Ministers (ANCEDRAM), an association comprising all the drama and film production ministers and ministries in Nigeria.
He is Head of Advisory Board, North American Conference of Evangelical Drama and Film Ministers (NACEDRAM)
He is the Founder and Head of Advisory Council of UK Christian Drama Ministers Association.
He was Resident Script-Writer, African “Walking With Jesus” Film Projects of Campus Crusade For Christ Int’l, Orlando, Florida and Cultural Producer of the Film Project “Walking With Jesus” in Nairobi Kenya.
In August 2014, his ministry, Mount Zion marked their 100th christian movies produced in addition to producing and directing “Rupantar”, the first evangelical movie made in Hindi language in the Northern part of India.
He is a Script-Writer, Christian film Actor, Producer and Director, and married to Gloria Bamiloye, also an Author, Script-Writer, Actress and Christian Film Producer. They are blessed with three children: Damilola, a Script writer, movie director and Director of Photography who shot the Mount Zion movies in Australia, USA and India; Joshua, is into movie soundtracks who has scored more than 50 of Mount Zion movies and Oluwadara, who has just published her first drama book.
Kelechi Amadi-Obi, after obtaining a law degree and his call to bar in 1993, settled to full-time studio art. In 2003, he founded Kelechi Amadi-Obi studios. He has earned international renown for both his photography and paintings. His unique style and mastery of aesthetics and creative lighting in his paintings have been reinvented in his photography to create outstanding, dynamic and result oriented photography for his clients. In 2010, He founded and began publishing StyleMania magazine which has grown to become the top fashion and lifestyle magazine in Nigeria.
Some of Kelechi’s fine art photography works have been featured in exhibitions within and outside Nigeria. These include; 2006 “Snap Judgement” – New Position in Contemporary African Photography, International Centre of Photography, New York, USA, 2005 “Depth of Field” South London Gallery, UK, 2004, “Lagos” Ifa Gallery, Stuttgart, Germany, 2003 “Transferts” Africalia, Brussels, Belgium and 2015 “Nude”, Rele Gallery, Lagos Nigeria.
Kelechi has also worked with several corporate clients which include Guiness Nigeria Plc, Forbes Africa, Etisalat Nigeria, Diamond Bank Plc., UBA, MTN Nigeria Plc, PZ Nigeria Plc, British American Tobacco, The Ford Foundation, PrimaGarnet Ogilvy, SO&U, InsightGrey and Nigerian Flour Mills to mention a few.
TY Bello is one of Nigeria’s most recognized artists. She came to
public attention in the early 2000s as a member of the music group
Kush. She has also built a reputation as one of Nigeria’s foremost
photographers and is a member of the talented photography collective
Depth of Field.
Her evocative portraits never fail to rouse strong emotions and have
made her one of the most applauded and keenly sought after portrait
photographers in the country. Indeed she has the unique distinction
of having photographed three sitting Nigerian Presidents.
TY deploys the same creative gift to produce engaging yet timeless
music. She launched her successful debut solo album Greenland in
2005. Its title track- Greenland and Ekundayo became instant hits and
are now widely accepted household favorites. The Future- her Nigerian
jubilee tribute was released on the eve of the April 2011 general
elections. It became the awakening song for Nigerians as they
steered the fate of the nation with their votes.
TY’s songs and her photography- which has been exhibited in Nigeria
and around the world- have earned awards both at home and abroad.
Linus Idahosa is a progressive Media, Business and an International Public Relations Executive with a track record of successful social entrepreneurial ventures; some of which have championed various initiatives that have driven innovation in Media, Entertainment, Youth Development and National Security. He has offered consultancy services to some of Africa’s top blue chip companies and Governments, helping to raise their visibility on various international platforms.
He is the Founder and CEO of Del-York International; a media and broadcast consultancy and foremost capacity building company for the creative industry in Nigeria.
His quest to enhance youth and institutional development in the creative industry led him to sign a strategic partnership deal with The New-York Film Academy in 2009 to represent the Institution in Africa, and between 2010 and 2015 he had successfully flown in 72 of its lecturers from New York & Los Angeles into Nigeria for its annual one-month hands-on intensive training programs. He has now trained over 1,200 aspiring and professional filmmakers and broadcast journalists in all aspects of film and interactive media; resulting in job creation, higher professional and technical standards and lucrative international collaborations.
As a passionate advocate and capacity builder in Nigeria’s creative industry, Linus Idahosa has forged strategic relationships and partnerships with global media organizations, NGOs, and governments across Africa. Amongst a few are CNN International, Washington Times, University of Wales, the Government of Zambia and the Quebec Film and Television Council of Canada.
In recognition for his capacity building efforts across Africa; He was awarded a Honorary Doctorate degree by the London Graduate School, Albion College, a doctorate from the University of Belize and a Creative Entrepreneurship award from the University of Kent in the United Kingdom.
Linus has been a tireless campaigner for the youth, both domestically and internationally. He believes that Nigeria should be a net exporter of its cultural products, whilst deploying the creative arts as a potent instrument for soft diplomacy and nation building.
Adekunle Ayodeji Afolayan, is one of Nigeria’s foremost 2nd generation filmmaker and son of the highly respected Adeyemi Afolayan (Ade-Love), a passionate theatre artist who co-pioneered the movement from travelling theatre to the celluloid film format as introduced by Ola Balogun.
As a Filmmaker, Kunle’s works has transcended the boundaries of the ordinary and is producing a fresh crop of new Nigerian cinematography that raises the bar with regards to what the world expects of the Nigerian Film Industry. He trained as a business administrator, and with a career in banking, Kunle was cast into Tunde Kelani’s multiple award-winning movies Saworoide and Agogo Eewo, earning him the first accolades from the industry for his portrayal of the trials of an estranged and endangered Yoruba Prince.
In his commitment to self-improvement and professional excellence, Kunle enrolled at the New York Film Academy in 2005 His first full-length movie, Irapada, gave credence to the unique ability and versatility of the man Kunle Afolayan as Actor, Producer and Co-director.
Kunle has shown great tenacity by paying great attention to details, giving creative interpretation to the issues of life; and by the almost-uncanny ability to bring his subject to life on film, Kunle Afolayan, though young, has earned the respect and honour that is accorded to ‘elders’ within and beyond the industry.
The works of Kunle Afolayan has garnered acclaim and set box office records to unprecedented proportions. Most recently, his movies The Figurine, Phoneswap and his most recent Blockbuster Movie (OCTOBER 1) as well as other productions from his stables have been featured and showcased variously at international film festivals across the globe. Mr Afolayan is currently working on the pre-production phase of his next movie “THE C.E.O” which promises to be another bar raiser in the Nigerian, and indeed African Film Industry.
Femi Odugbemi is an award-winning Filmmaker, Writer, Producer and a respected voice in Nigeria’s art and cultures. He is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of the popular I-Represent International Documentary Film Festival Lagos.
A 3-time Head of Jury of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards, Femi has received the Excellence in Film Award of the Society for the Performing Arts of Nigeria SPAN. His critically-acclaimed film ‘’BARIGA BOY‘’ won Best Documentary Film at the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA 2010). He has also received the AFROPOP Prize sponsored by the National Black Programming and Consortium in the United States. Other highlights of his works include the Feature films “MAROKO” (2009) ‘’BAR BEACH BLUES‘’ (Best Director, Zuma Film Festival 2006) ‘’MAMA PUT“ (Best Film Abuja International Film Festival 2009) and the critically-acclaimed documentaries “IBADAN CRADLE OF LITERATI”(2008), “ORIKI”(2010) and “THE CHAIN WAS NOT”(2011). On television, Femi was the founding Producer of “TINSEL” MNET-Africa’s acclaimed daily soap-opera which has broadcast over a thousand and five hundred episodes.
He has also worked as Supervising Executive Producer for the Africa Magic Original Films series which has produced over 80 made-for-TV films. He was a 2-term President of the Independent Television Producers Association of Nigeria (ITPAN 2002-2006) and has served as a juror on several International film fora including the Emmy Awards, the African International Film Festival, Calabar and the Afrinolly CINEMA4CHANGE Project.
He was most recently the Head of Jury for the Uganda Film Festival 2015. He is CEO of DVWORX Studios, Lagos and Provost of Orange Academy Lagos.
